Description
This Prominent executive desk, signed Ahrend (originally developed by Oda, a company later absorbed by Ahrend), has come through the 1930s without losing its style. Light grey, with a dark grey linoleum top that catches the eye immediately, and chrome details that highlight its Art Deco lines.
Five drawers, including a deeper one designed for hanging files, two sliding shelves on either side, and a lock that actually works, which isn't all that common on pieces from this era that I've come across elsewhere.
It's an imposing, heavy piece, built for a real executive office, not a small home-office corner. Plan for help moving it.
