{"title":"Furniture","description":"\u003cp\u003eFurniture is what I'm most obsessed with in my hunting. I look for chairs, armchairs, tables, sideboards, cabinets, chests of drawers and consoles that have made it through the decades without a wrinkle, or with the right wrinkles. I have a soft spot for Scandinavian mid-century, the clean lines of a designer like Hans Wegner or Børge Mogensen, but I also hunt through 70s Italian design, moulded plastic Space Age furniture, or Dutch industrial pieces that few people notice at first glance. I'm still learning to spot maker's marks, original joinery, finishes that give away a real publisher (Knoll, Thonet, Cassina) from a more anonymous but equally honest manufacturer. Every piece I find, I document as best I can: decade, materials, real condition, nothing dressed up.
